30th Birthday of Crime Stoppers of Hamilton Inc.
May 23, 2013 is the 30th Birthday of Crime Stoppers of Hamilton Inc. Hamilton’s program was the first in Ontario; the 2nd in Canada. We celebrated by launching a new concept in anonymous reporting: Be A Hero. CHCH came to our Birthday Party! Matt Hayes did the weather and interviewed Greg Slack, Program Coordinator and Bryon Brown, Chair, Board of Directors.
30th BIRTHDAY PARTY AND BE A HERO LAUNCH – many thanks to all those who attended, including Darrin Laidman from FRESH FM, who served as MC for the event. Crime Stoppers of Hamilton is changing the face of anonymous callers. Tipsters are not rats — they are heroes – an integral part of fighting crime – doing the right thing – to stand up, speak out, Be a Hero. Let’s Close the Book on a Crook!
