Jean Paul Page, 29 years old, of 4 Grosvenor Ave. S. Hamilton was murdered and found by his girlfriend on the morning of July 29, 2004.  The cause of death was multiple stab wounds.

The victim’s wallet containing a Royal bank card, a social insurance card, birth certificate and other personal items was stolen. The victim’s bank card was used at the Toronto-Dominion bank at King and Hughson streets in Hamilton at about 12 a.m. on the July 29 and the images a male was captured by the surveillance cameras.

The pictures show a black man 20 to 25 years of age, with a medium build and standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, wearing a white T-Shirt, dark zippered jacket, baggy beige or cream pants and similar-coloured shoes, wearing a “Von Dutch” baseball hat.

Hamilton Homicide Unit Detectives have been actively investigating this murder and are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for the murder of Jean Paul Page.  “We know that there are people out there that have information that would bring the individual(s) to justice. We are hopeful that over the passage of time, these people now see the importance and do the right thing of now coming forward and providing the necessary information that will bring this investigation to a successful conclusion.”
